CoMod
is strictly guided by the component-oriented approach. That enables
both cross-platform availability (e.g. for Windows, OS/2, Sun Solaris,
IBM AIX, HP UX, Linux, FSC Reliant etc.) and the use of modules
from various different programming languages (e.g. C++, Java, VB,
.NET, SmallTalk etc.).
The individual modules of CoMod can be made available case-specifically,
irrespective of whether your architecture pursues a three-tier
approach or a "fat client" principle. Needless to say,
CoMod is also enabled for use with application servers (e.g. Tomcat,
Bea Weblogic, IBM Websphere).
Further below, you can find two sample scenarios in the server environment.
This flexibility of the components enables optimum adaptation for
your requirements.
The following illustration provides you with an overview
of how the CoMod work together.
