For more then twenty years, CIB has been an established manufacturer of standard applications involving output and document management as well as an innovative partner in IT consulting.

2012

CIB software GmbH moves to a new office complex in Munich/Arabellapark

Due to the ever increasing number of employees at CIB group, the two branches in Munich (Stuntzstraße / Willy-Brandt-Allee) were finally reunited in the popular Munich district of Arabellapark, at the beginning of the year.

The new state of the art office complex, boasting over 2.400 m² of office space and the latest technical infrastructure, provides a comfortable atmosphere and has many advantages. The generous floor space makes it an optimal environment for comfortable and professional daily work. Additionally, in our modern showroom and in seminars and workshops, customers and partners alike will be able to discuss themes relating to Document Lifecycle Management in a highly effective, practice oriented manner.
 
While employees were moving to a new office in Munich, CIB consulting GmbH also moved their offices from Rheinmünster to the IT innovation hub of Karlsruhe. This close proximity to researchers, partners, customers and users will allow CIB to build, extend and strengthen its business network.

The CIB  group of companies is growing and over the last year has expanded to have more than 130 employees.

2009

Merger of companies and change of business location


Merger of the CIB Host Services GmbH into CIB consulting GmbH as well as of the CIB Web Services GmbH and the CIB dms GmbH into the CIB coftware GmbH.

We have thus a streamlining of the CIB group from five into two companies achieved.


The strong employee growth led to a relocation of the CIB coftware GmbH in its new headquarters in Munich. The address is Willy-Brandt-Allee 2, 81829 Munich.

2008

Relocation of the head office


The CIB consulting GmbH moved its headquarters into Baden Airpark, near Baden-Baden, and thereby strengthens the proximity to its customers in Karlsruhe.

2007

Foundation of the representative office in Minsk and of CIB dms GmbH


The successful long standing collaboration with developers in Minsk / Belarus will be strengthened by establishing a representative office.

In parallel, the CIB dms GmbH in Baden Airpark, near Baden-Baden is founded. The branch is focusing on development of the archiving system CIB doXima and complements its product portfolio with an important component. The CIB office modules now provide the full range from complete document preparation through to data logging up to the dynamic document generation and revision-proof archiving.

2006

Re-name and re-establishment


At the beginning of 2006, the CIB services GmbH was renamed as a subsidiary of CIB software GmbH in CIB Web Services GmbH and does since that time, the online marketing activities of CIB software GmbH.


In addition, the CIB group of companies has been expanded with the CIB Host Services GmbH as a subsidiary of CIB consulting GmbH.

2002

Formation of the company CIB services


In order to round off the existing offering in a service-oriented manner, CIB services emerged as a service provider for texts, organization and creation.

2001

Second change of business location


This growth gave rise to another relocation move by the company to the present headquarters of all companies - Stuntzstrasse 16, in Munich's district of Bogenhausen.

2000

Expansion


The meanwhile significantly expanded product range necessitated a split-up. The company AVP, which had since been founded, was given the well-proven name CIB software GmbH. FAIR4U, a company that returned to the insurance-software origins rooted in FGP, emerged from the former CIB software GmbH.

1998

Restructuring


For marketing reasons, CIB software GmbH - which represents the service side of things - was given the name CIB consulting GmbH. FGP on the other hand, which was handling product development, changed its name to CIB software GmbH.

1995

Project extension


With AKDB and the Austrian Federal Army, CIB was able to gain two major customers and thus also increasingly establish itself in the area of public administration.

1993

Extension


In order to enlarge the existing offering of products and to acquire the necessary insurance know-how, the management purchased the company FGP, founded in 1987.

1992

Autonomy


With the purchase of the shares from Siemens Nixdorf (SNI), founded in 1990, now only shareholders working within CIB remained.

1991

Change of business location


On account of the rapid growth, the company moved within Munich from Ungerer Strasse to larger business offices in Riesstrasse.

At the time of formation, which took place with the minority equitable interest of NCAG, the fledgling CIB software GmbH was able to build upon several years of experience in the area of financial institutions.

1989

Foundation


In 1989, Graduate Engineer (Diplom-Ingenieur) Ulrich Brandner, who had succeeded in convincing the then board of directors of Nixdorf AG of his visions, founded CIB software GmbH with a staff of 6 employees in the scope of a spin-off.
