RIDMI: Automate barrier-free
The aim of the project is to launch an artificial intelligence (AI)-based application that enables automatic conversion into accessible documents.
Our AI should be able to independently and automatically handle tasks that were previously performed manually!
Novel layout transformer AIs achieve excellent results in document layout analysis for reading order and footnote assignment. This project is supplemented by already-established AI approaches for generating image replacement texts and table recognition.
