Our first CIB User Group for private and VR banks took place in Munich on 19 and 20 October. Around 55 participants from 40 banks from all over Germany took advantage of the two-day event to discuss process and digitalization solutions with us.

CIB founder and host Ulrich Brandner welcomed the guests and opened the event: The programme offered a wide range of topics that were specially tailored to the individual needs of the audience.
Know-how transfer and exchange
In addition to the practical and professional exchange, the meeting served to build a community via our platform and as an exchange platform for customised forms or templates.
The participants were able to deepen their experience with CIB workbench, our specialised text organization tool.
Tips & tricks and best practices
The meeting was all about tips & tricks and best practices: The participants' questions were answered by each other or by our CIB consultants Sascha Proske and Georg Hehmann. In presentations and live demonstrations, current topics were dealt with in the use case, such as
- the automation of banking applications (RPA / CIB flow)
- digital signature processes in standard templates
- form rule assignment in the omnichannel platform (OKP)
- automatic invoice generation
... and many other practical topics relating to text organization!
Efficient working with workflow automation and CIB flow
The aim of the meeting was also to highlight new opportunities for even more efficient working in the future. Our digitalization expertFrank Seboldt gave the guests a detailed insight into the possibilities of automating banking applications with CIB flow.

CIB hospitality in a relaxed atmosphere
As is already a tradition at all CIB events, socialising was not neglected in addition to the professional exchange. Lunch, finger food and dinner together in the picturesque Seehaus in the Englischen Garten created a relaxed atmosphere and rounded off the event perfectly.
An inspiring meeting with real added value
CIB User Group 2023 was not just an event for exchanging knowledge and experience. It also created a committed community of bank organizers who together can look back on 250 years of experience with our text organization tool. And, of course, CIB is at your side as a digitalization expert for standard document management applications. We look forward to the next meetings in 2024.
