Upon acquiring our new office for our headquarters in Faro, Portugal, which was previously used as a children's teaching center, CIB discovered that there were leftover tables and chairs on the premises. We saw an opportunity to make a difference and decided to donate them to a good cause.
The donated tables and chairs, which were previously stored in the basement of the office, found a new home last week when they were brought to the Refúgio Aboim Ascensão .
This facility serves as a shelter for abandoned children and a foster home. The Refúgio's geographic location made it the ideal place for the donation, as it fosters a sense of community and support among neighbors.
We are glad that we were able to make a difference with this small gesture!
